Pembroke Show more often than not has rain - lots of it last year! But today the sun shone and it was wonderful as crowds were able to enjoy the programme of outdoor events in glorious sunshine! We had a stall in the Arts & Crafts Marquee and were busy promoting our WW1 project. We are also raising funds to purchase the 6ft version of the There But Not There Tommy and asking people to sponsor a candle, each to represent one of the Fallen - these will be painted with poppies at a future community event and displayed as an art installation in St Mary's Church. This will bring home to people how many men were lost to this community during that terrible conflict.
